9 Trench Coats You Need This Autumn

8 September 2020

Throughout the years I've worked my way through plenty of beige trench coats - I mean, it's the signature look right? So this year, to branch out of my comfort zone, and try something different I introduced a khaki green trench coat into my life. The one I am wearing (and have worn non-stop since the day I bought it is from Nasty Gal) It's not only the colour that appealed to me but also the length - I love how it comes to where my knee is. So, without any further ado my top 9 trench coats for the autumn...

1. Faux Leather. All my Faux leather dreams are coming true with this ASOS Design trench. JUST LOOK.

2. I must say M&S is one store that gets autumn right every single year. Their clothing is not only fashionable as hell but of extremely high quality for the price. My favourite is the Checked Double Breasted Trench Coat

3. The Classic. No Autumn or Spring can go without the Classic Beige Trench Coat, this one by Levi's is selling out everywhere but its one of those staple items is wearable year after year.

4. When John Lewis & Partners invited me down to their Style Studio Personal Shopping experience (PR invite), I was styled by Ania, who informed me that as much as I love to wear Black, it will not be my colour forever, and that I should start to look into Navy. I took her advice and found this Navy Trench Coat from Uniqlo.

5. I couldn't write a blog on Trench Coats and not praise John Lewis & Partners (again). I think this  Check Lined Trench Coat (via John Lewis) has to be my favourite coat of all time. I love that it takes the classic beige coat but adds a modern twist with the sleeves.

6. I'm desperately trying to steer away from Black, so this Port coloured trench from Phase Eight is perfect for the upcoming autumnal months

7. For a complete new take on the materials used for the Trench, I've turned to Monsoon for Cora Cord trench coat. It's woven from corduroy for a different trench coat vibe.

8. And finally, the Trench Coat Statement Piece of the Year award goes to Topshop. Nothing says 'Babe you're so extra' more than a vinyl trench coat and white boots.

Happy Autumn
