Two travel posts in a row can only mean one thing. It's 0 degrees and I'm suffering from an extreme case of wanderlust.
No trip to France would be complete if I didn't write a blog post on it. By write, I mean post all my pictures.
We stayed in the Le Grand Balcon hotel. The design and location of the hotel is absolutely incredible. Great hotel with small but chic rooms. Any room where your greeted with a Nespresso machine, complimentary champagne and a selection of mini macaroons gets my vote. The hotel is located just off of Place du Capitole - the main square with tons of shopping (including Sephora and Zara nearby...so very dangerous), markets, cafes and restaurants. There is also a Metro stop very close to the hotel.
Cons - It rained when I visited!
Pros of Toulouse - Stunning Architecture (best sights include the Basilique Saint-Sernin de Toulouse and Pont Neuf), Lots to do, Cheap Flights (Thanks Ryanair), Easy Transportation system, Friendly people, Amazing food.
And thanks to Ryanair, you can get there for just £10. #Thankmelater
