Weekend Wanderlust: France and Belgium.

23 November 2016 Belgium

I can't go 3 days without looking at Yonder for cheap flights or lastminute.com for a holiday away. I don't know if it's just because I'm in my third year at University and I will do anything to procrastinate from work and preparing for the real world. Or if I'm just generally bored of England.

Last weekend I was able to satisfy my wanderlust-ness and took a trip to France and Belgium. I managed to intertwine a general sightseeing trip with a shopping trip , so was doubly excited for this trip despite sitting on the floor on a train from Manchester to London and getting 3 hours sleep seeing as my alarm was set for 5am.

Having already been to Brussels and Bruges, I wanted to see what a proper Belgium town felt like. And Veurne gave me just that. I also found an amazing chocolate shop (because who doesn't go to Belgium and get chocolate?!).

Seeing as we left the house at 6am, my outfit for the day was designed to be comfy.

Padded Jacket - £30 @ H&M
Jumper...Lavish Alice  (Similar)
Jeans - £36 @ Topshop
Boots - £25 @ Ajvani Shoes

I'm still not over the fact that France is 35 minutes from England when traveling on the Eurotunnel. And when you get to Calais, you're met by the beautiful shopping centre of CiteEurope. Home to over 132 boutiques and a Sephora, me and my credit card both enjoyed our time there. It's also decorated really christmassy (I know...not a word) at the moment. I got a bit too excited and had to take pictures with the decorations.

Any suggestions for my next trip? I'm thinking somewhere in Scandinavia for January time.
